Kate Plaisted is a passionate and versatile musician who graduated from the Frost School of Music in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and Music Business, along with a minor in Songwriting. Her musical journey began at the age of 5 with classical piano, and by 11, she had expanded her talents to include voice lessons—learning to accompany herself and developing a lifelong love of music.

With a strong foundation in both performance and the music industry, Kate brings a well-rounded and inspiring approach to teaching. Whether helping students find their voice, refine their piano technique, or explore the art of songwriting, she aims to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Outside of music, Kate enjoys snorkeling, hiking, and horseback riding—activities that fuel her creativity and love for adventure.
