Micah started playing the ukulele at the early age of 7 years old. Like many kids in Hawaii, he began by taking lessons at Roy Sakuma Studios. Later in High School, Micah changed his focus to learning the bassoon and saxophone, but the love for the ukulele never left him. Micah is now an avid ukulele player, taking his uke wherever he goes and making music in the community.
Nearly twenty years later, Micah has found fulfillment in teaching others what he has learned on his primary instrument, the ukulele. Micah believes the best way to connect with someone is through music, and hopes to share that sentiment with his students.
