Kristy-Li began singing and performing at the young age of eight. She was fortunate enough to perform at a multitude of events all over Oahu as well as compete and win in competitions. At fifteen, she was cast in a Broadway-directed musical production of Aida, a group with whom she traveled and performed in Scotland's famous Fringe Festival.

After completing studies at the University of Evansville, which included four years of classical operatic training in Women's Chorus, Kristy-Li moved to Los Angeles and began her adult career in musical theatre. From there, she joined various companies all over America including Santa Monica Children's Theatre, and Surflight Theater of New Jersey. Eventually she began performing, singing, dancing, writing, directing, and composing full time at English Musicals in South Korea for two years.

Now, she's back in her hometown of Honolulu and has since performed professionally as a company member of Honolulu Theatre for Youth all over the Hawaiian Islands, at the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, U.S.S. Missouri, Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, and more. She released her first EP album in 2022, which she wrote, sang, recorded, engineered, and produced herself. Kristy-Li is currently performing at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and working on her next full album to be released in 2023. She is excited to join Chuck James Music School and spread her passion for singing and teaching. She can't wait to help future singers reach their full vocal potential and instill in them a joy for music and performance.
