All the way from the little island of Bahrain, Yusuf Najjar is a passionate vocalist, educator, and performer with a deep love for music in all its forms. With a background spanning multiple continents, he has taught singers and actors of all ages— from 5 to 50—across the world, helping them develop their voices, refine their techniques, and express themselves with confidence!

 

Yusuf has his bachelors degree is in Arts & Markets with a music concentration where he has completed vocal health and vocal pedagogy research. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Organizational Development and Leadership with a focus on Education at Hawai‘i Pacific University, where he is also a music scholarship recipient. He performs with the university’s International Vocal Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Hawaiian Ensemble, and Symphony Orchestra as a percussionist and singer.

 

 Prior to this, he attended Canterbury High School of the Performing Arts in Canada, specializing in Dramatic Arts and while also completing a Specialist High Skills Major in Business alongside his teaching at the Ottawa Children’s Theatre. His education, combined with years of real-world performance experience, allows him to offer well-rounded and personalized vocal training!

 

His teaching approach is versatile and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you’re looking to master musical theatre, R&B, contemporary or to help get you ready for your next big audition, Yusuf brings a strong foundation in vocal technique, performance, and artistry. He also offers guidance in songwriting, helping singers craft compelling, meaningful music that tells their stories.

 

Beyond teaching, Yusuf is an active performer, songwriter, and band member. He tours with 2 bands and works on independent music projects, and is preparing for the release of his upcoming album backed by an artistry grant. His experience on stage and in the recording studio brings invaluable insight to his lessons, helping students not only develop their voices but also understand the art of performance and storytelling.
